What is Microneedling

What is PRP

  • Platelet-rich plasma, also known as autologous conditioned plasma, is a concentrate of platelet-rich plasma protein derived from whole blood, centrifuged to remove red blood cells. 
  • How to make PRP: draw patient’s blood, spin in special separation tube in centrifuge, draw off PRP.
  • Used for wrinkles, skin tightening and hair loss.

How to Administer PRP with Aesthetic Roller

  • The most common technique of administering PRP with microneedling is to fill a syringe with PRP and have an assistant or yourself drip the PRP from the syringe onto the face or scalp.
  • New Way: administer PRP from AR vial while rolling over area with attached microneedle device.
  • Then roll over the wet area with the microneedle device.
  • Disadvantage: Hard to do by oneself, drips while microneedling, waste of PRP.
